When we understand how perfectly good God is, we start to realise that our level of goodness is far below God’s perfect goodness.

For example... Even one speck of dirt in a glass of purified water will mean the water is no longer pure. In the same way, one wrong thought or action in our life will mean we are no longer pure. This means no one is pure but God.

Instead of asking “Am I good enough for God?” (no-one is!) we should ask “How can I be made pure?”
